Privacy Policy

This policy explains how IAP Press, the publishing imprint of the Institute of Applied Psychology, handles personal information. We are committed to the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

We only collect what we need: your email address if you join our newsletter, and the name, email and message content you provide when you use a contact, submission or enquiry form. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not sell anything directly, so we never collect payment details.

How we use it

Newsletter addresses are used solely to send you the newsletter, via our email provider. Enquiry details are used to respond to and route your enquiry to the correct inbox. Aggregate, de-identified analytics help us understand which pages are useful.

Analytics & cookies

We use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views and outbound clicks in aggregate. You can decline non-essential cookies at any time via the consent banner. When you follow a link to Amazon, Amazon’s own privacy policy applies.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in every email. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
